On Sunday 2nd October the Scooter Shootout sprinting event took place, feeling the need for speed we took our racing Zips to Elvington near York for some quarter mile action.
The turnout was good with folk from all around the country attending. Thankfully the rain held off and riders were able to get plenty of runs up the drag strip. There was plenty for punters to see too including trade stalls, dyno testing, moto gymkhana and other attractions. At the time of writing it's looking like the event could take place again next year - a promising sign that scooter drag racing is gaining in popularity once again in the UK. Look out for us at a drag strip next season. And who knows, we might have something special planned for the next Scooter Shootout...
