We are shipping as normal all of this week up until Friday the 22nd of December and then we close and return on January the 2nd 2018.

Polini E-bike HI-SPEED Tuning Module - 50KM/H Pedal Assist

Electric bicycle tuning is growing as you would expect, every one loves fresh air and most people like pedalling around on bicyles but it can be tiring, pedal assistance with an electric motor has got to be the way forward.

Polini's HI-SPEED module/dongle is designed to get you past the 25km/h limit set by the manufacturers which seems to be the sweet spot of where the real enjoyment starts. Plug in the Polini unit and the pedal assist mode is active up to 50km/h which is just over 30mph.
Installation is easy, not too intrusive and can be reversed quickly, wiring is connected directly to the originals using the same connectors.

Polini's latest performance cylinder kit 140.0221 is destined to give even more acceleration to Vespa's GTS 125 Euro 4 scooter along with Piaggio's big wheeled Medley 125.

Polini includes an ECU that modifys the injection timing to correct the fuel changes needed making the job easy to get right.

Available as a Pre-Order, Polini deliveries are every 3-4 weeks.

The new 2017 KTM 390 Duke looks better than ever with new front forks, new seating position arrangement and electric gismos to list just a few. The striking KTM colour scheme and aggressive body mouldings aren't bad either.
With this new comfy more grown up version and the Euro 4 must haves the engine and performance are still hitting the mark be it with a low exhaust note.

Pedstop 94cc Auto Pitbike @ Fatcats Moto Parc

Well after months of talking about it we finally got around to it and got some well deserved track time at FATCATS Doncaster Go Kart track "perfect".

This is a great little venue for getting out of the way when your racing skills are less than average and your testing a pretty but Frankenstein type of bike like ours.

As you can see our camera skills on the day were on par with our riding so definitely more to come in both areas. The bike revealed some small niggles which were expected but it was capable and fast, this thing will be a menace in the right hands "Joe Ravenscroft"

Fingers crossed this weekend we will manage to get the video footage and photos in focus.

Well it's finally here almost, our last shipping day is tomorrow the 23rd of December before we break up for the Christmas period. Orders dispatched this week should arrive between the 27th and 29th.
Normal shipping and service will resume January the 3rd 2017.

The PRE-ORDER button allows you to order parts that aren't on our normal stocking plan. Each manufacturer brand has an approximate turn around time from us placing an order to the parts being received in the UK.

This system is new for us but we hope to get the delivery times down to 7-10 days or less over the next few months.

PRE-ORDER items will only arrive in stock once you have completed the transaction.
This allows you access to some great brands and prices and a bigger application of expensive components that are too costly to keep on the shelf.

Pedstop 94cc Pitbike hybrid with automatic Race engine - Update

Over a year has passed since we mentioned our hybrid 94cc automatic Pitbike x scooter and lots of things have changed including my thinking.
Did we finish it? Was it any good? Yes it was and is, so why no updates?

This thing is a beast, handles well, extremely fast and possibly too much fun, HOWEVER wearing no helmet doing 80-90mph in a cold wet, dark car park wearing a t-shirt and jeans with no gloves isn’t something I would ever repeat especially when it results in an off.

ALWAYS WEAR A HELMET KIDS or you might end up with brain damage, severe deafness, fractured ribs, arms and maybe even triple vision. Did I mention the lack of patience and the need to swear at just about everything I don’t like, Fuck it lets show you some pictures now it’s been rebuilt and I’m conscious.

The Beginning
KLX 140 Pitbike was chopped for the fork tube and rake; Pit bikes are great on tarmac with sticky tyres on. Keeping the Pitbike front section retained the original geometry be it looking a bit different.

The Engine
We robbed the engine from our Polini 94cc Piaggio Zip which we love, Polini Big Evolution 94cc, 52mm piston with 44mm long stroke Polini Evolution crankshaft. Polini digital ignition with Big Evo exhaust, 9 roller variator, 33mm Keihin carburettor from a Yamaha Banshee 350cc quad. Bespoke petrol and expansion tank with an oversized radiator also taken from one of our race scooters.

 

The Frame
I better mention the chap that fabricated the frame for us from some very sketchy sketches “Fat Shaun” sorry Shaun I meant Fatspeed now in their new unit fabricating one off motorcycle specials Down and Out Café Racers. Not the usual for these guys but frames are frames especially when it’s something quirky like a Pit Bike.
All of the pictures above are of the now repaired bike “Post Accident” almost as a good as before with the help of some insulating tape and not so perfect cable routing. The seat has been recovered as this wasn’t bolted down during the first test session so took some damage; in fact ha ah that’s what did my ribs.
What next, well we want to see it go around a track just like you with a good pilot not some old arse wannabee like me. Anyways we really can’t risk wrecking it again it’s so pretty. We have somebody in mind that can go around a track fast on pretty much anything and he’s young so he will bounce better than any of us.

Our opening times are changing for the winter period, with dark nights leaving us little time to pursue other developments we are tweaking our hours to suit all "hopefully". This means we will be closed on weekends so instead we will have late night openings every Friday until 6.30pm.

New opening times from this weekend onwards are as follows

Monday to Thursday: 9AM - 5PM
Friday: 9AM - 6.30PM
Saturday - Sunday: Closed

Pedmoto Series 2 exhaust for Gilera Runner and Piaggio Zip MK2

The Series 2 is here not only with an amended silencer logo but with improved torque and redesigned expansion allowing fitment throughout the Piaggio, Gilera and Aprilia scooter range including the early years.

Each system is maintaining the £99 price tag and includes variator rollers and all other components needed to fit.
