Polini's latest performance cylinder kit 140.0221 is destined to give even more acceleration to Vespa's GTS 125 Euro 4 scooter along with Piaggio's big wheeled Medley 125.

Polini includes an ECU that modifys the injection timing to correct the fuel changes needed making the job easy to get right.

Scooter Pit Bike Hybrid hmm Why?

Why not tune up just a scooter or pit bike, well we thought that had been done already, not by just us but loads of people everywhere lots of times.
The amazing thing about Pit bikes is there awesome useability on tarmac as well as off road, we maybe shouldn't say this but due to the seat, feet, handlebar position of your everyday 140cc thumper they make an excellent tarmac scratcher with more stability than your average scooter. You can get away with wild maneuvers that would result in a crash on a normal ped.
With this said they do have a lumpy gearbox with OK acceleration which is still great for masses of fun but put a 94cc 2 stroke engine with CVT transmission and surely it will be awesome?

Well that's what we are hoping for a track focused looney tune two wheeler with all the fun of a pitbike and the crazy acceleration and consistency of a race prepared scooter engine. Videos and more pics coming soon!

Polini Scooter Team 3 exhaust system for Aprilia Scarabeo 50

The latest Team 3 system to come out of Polini's R & D department is suitable for Aprilia Scarabeo 50cc Piaggio engined scooters. Developed with their extensive knowledge of on track racing it has technical features inspired from the top of the range Big Evolution system. The black laser engraved silencer gives an aggressive look whilst the specific size and shape of the expansion chamber increases engine performance right through the RPM range on stock 50cc and cast iron 70cc cylinder kits. Made from P04 steel shells designed to with stand vibrations which are joined via a neat TIG welding process giving great mechanical strength and reliability too.

New Polini Carburettor's Launched at Eicma 2012

It looks like Polini have managed to meet the needs of what everyone is striving for nowadays, sophisticated technology neatly packaged into a small body with lots of quality and great performance.

A carburettor! really, for us this is a big win in terms of  what you guys need, we have included below all of the information that Polini have provided but in short there are two types of carb available, one with a flip choke and the other with a cable attachment. Both are being released in the following diameter sizes 15, 17.5, 19, 21, and 23mm.

This was the Polini’s great idea, and this is the great result: an innovative carburettor, whose every single component has been designed, developed and manufactured by the company of Bergamo.

 Available in a wide range of diameters - 15/17.5/19/21/23/24 - it is entirely made of aluminium, it has compact dimensions and it is 40% lighter than a traditional carburetor.

The inlet pipe is very short and it features an exclusive concentric design and a geometry that optimises the air flow when the gases passes through. The overflow of petrol in the atomiser has been designed to ensure correct flow dynamic at every position of the throttle valve when open. The hole where the petrol enters and the larger needle allow the constant draft even in the most extreme conditions. The float level, completely made of plastic, and the needle seal are carefully controlled in the production department to ensure the same standard of efficiency over time. These features considerably simplify the setup of the carburetor. Thanks to the extremely sophisticated calibration, the petrol-air flow, main and low jets have been designed to achieve the best performance with a lower consumption. The compact size of the new carburetor is the result of a careful and meticulous management of the inner space and the maximum efficiency of all the components, subjected to strict controls.

To ensure an easy and precise assembly on the best sellers engines and its compatibility to different filter boxes, both originals and racing, flanges with different diameters are available. A prestigious project like this has required a deep synergy of competences in this field. An extraordinary teamwork between the technical and the racing department to reach the goal which is visible to everybody: a technologically advanced product and of absolute reliability.

New 70cc Polini Evolution engine for 2010 for Piaggio Zip - 25hp

Another engine and a new cylinder from Polini, things are definitely hotting up in Italy, what's going on?!

This new 47.6mm cylinder kit is set to give an enormous 25hp which should please the Italian cup riders along with young gun runners Sam & Josh in this year's BSSO Championship.

As you can see from the pictures the new 70cc uses the same cylinder layout as the 94cc big bore which will also be available soon. A new crankshaft, ignition and exhaust also make an appearance on the latest Evo incarnation with usual goodies assembled.

New Polini Speed Clutch with fixed settings

Polini's new fixed Speed Clutch is now in stock and incorporates some great features at a great price.

Two new clutches have actually been introduced; one for stock or tuned engines with fixed settings and another that allows adjustments for tuned and race engines. The two fixed clutches which cover the popular Piaggio and Minarelli engines can be found via the following product codes: AD/249.046 and AD/249.048. Both have a fixed setting and are supplied with an additional spring set which allows for individual changes to suit the scooter they're being used on.

Fitting is easy due to it being a direct exchange with the stock part. This upgrade offers improved acceleration with a stronger resistance to vibration throughout the full speed range.

At only £40.85 the new Polini Speed Clutch is easily the winner when being compared to the Malossi Fly Clutch.
